The Falun Dafa Club at The University of Sydney (USYD) holds weekly meditation meet-ups on campus for Sydney uni students. Members of the Falun Dafa Club at the University of Pennsylvania held an exhibition in front of the Van Pelt Library on April 29-30, 2019. The activity introduced the ancient spiritual practice to students and faculty and informed them of the persecution and the crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners. Several students and faculty stopped and asked questions.

On March 14th, the Falun Dafa Club at the University of Delaware hosted a screening of award-winning film, Letter from Masanjia, chronicling China’s infamous “Reeducation through Labor” system and the story of one man, a Falun Gong practitioner, who was jailed and tortured for his faith.
Homecoming Parade, as a part of an annual tradition at University of Texas at Arlington to bring the campus and the community together, celebrate sports spirit, and welcome back around 100,000 alumni living in North Texas, happened this year on November 10.
Floats, marching bands, and traditional decorated golf carts rallied the street, during which Falun Gong Club at University of Texas at Arlington proudly showcased their glowing float adorned with lotus flowers. Check out some of the highlights below:
A documentary featuring one of the most respected human rights lawyers in China is coming to University of Washington on November 19.
An award-winning documentary produced by American public broadcaster PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) was screened at Temple University in Philadelphia, uncovering one of the horrifying crimes of our time: forced live organ harvesting.
On August 29th, Falun Dafa practitioners at the University of Texas at Arlington attended the Maverick Cook-Out and Activity Fair Day where they introduced Falun Dafa to students and showed a video demonstration of the exercises. Many students stopped by to learn more and signed up to receive more information.
At Arizona State University, the Falun Dafa Club welcomed new students as a part of a larger event on campus on August 14 and 15th. Many students stopped at the Falun Dafa booth and signed up to be notified about upcoming club activities.
At the University of Washington, students were treated with a screening of “Badass Beauty Queen” which tells the story of Anastasia Lin, an actress and human rights activist who decided to use beauty pageants as her platform to share an important message.
At Georgia Tech, students screened a new one-hour documentary, Badass Beauty Queen on April 12. The film follows Miss World Canada, Anastasia Lin, and her unwavering determination to stick to her conscience in the face of intimidation from an oppressive regime. Anastasia’s commitment to publicizing human rights abuses landed her coverage in The New York Times, speaking engagements at the National Press Club, United Nations, and a meeting with the Dalai Lama — in addition to the support of thousands of young women (21,000 followers on Facebook) who were inspired by her tenacity. After the film screening, Anastasia answered questions from the audience.
On March 29th, students at the University of Texas at Arlington screened the award-winning film Free China: The Courage to Believe. The documentary raises awareness about the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. A panel of speakers spoke after the screening.

The painting was part of the exhibition of some 30 artworks in the “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition” held at the University of Alberta, Canada on November 22-24. The artworks reflect the principles of the ancient cultivation practice of Falun Gong and expose the 18-year persecution of Falun Gong in China.

At International Night, a popular event held on Nov. 17 at Arizona State University, practitioners of Falun Dafa introduced the traditional Chinese spiritual discipline to students and shared about its uplifting effects on the mind and body.
