On March 14th, the Falun Dafa Club at the University of Delaware hosted a screening of award-winning film, Letter from Masanjia, chronicling China’s infamous “Reeducation through Labor” system and the story of one man, a Falun Gong practitioner, who was jailed and tortured for his faith.

We as Students for Falun Gong (SFFG) represent a body of bright, motivated, and civically-minded young people from across 4 continents. Though we come from different walks of life—a variety of academic disciplines and levels of education—we share in common a faith in the goodness of human potential and the democratic value of freedom of belief.
Eva Fu is a Falun Dafa practitioner at the University of Washington. Her father, Fu Xin’ge (付新革), was arrested on September 19, 2018, according to reports from Minghui.org, a website dedicated to reporting on the Falun Gong community worldwide. A major part of Minghui’s work is to track the disappearances and deaths of Falun Gong practitioners in China during this time of persecution.

On Nov. 9, the Partnership for Community and Diversity (PCD) and the Jackson School Student Association invited the public to join the two organizations, along with Canadian director Leon Lee, in viewing Lee’s Peabody award-winning documentary, Human Harvest.
